Responsibilities for Business Operations Analyst/Manager

Your mission will be to gather and interpret the data, draw the insights, and make recommendations for how to optimize our end-to-end business operation.

This is a strategic and sensitive role with significant impact, and you will need to be able to balance the immediate, demanding needs of sales and customer success with a structured long-term and scalable analytics and process mindset. You will report into the President & COO of Feedvisor, and you will work closely with our sales executives, sales development reps (SDRs), account managers, marketing, finance, and more. You should be excited about working in a fast-paced environment across the Go to Market team.

Specifically, you will:

- Compile information from various sources to formulate a current picture of the company and the market; maintain the single source of truth 
- Report to the President & COO on sales, customer, and product analyses, and market trends
- Shape, define, and execute reports and dashboards for recurring consumption by management and decision makers from Salesforce and other sources; Prepare materials for meetings such as weekly funnel reporting
- Interpret data to generate market strategies and recommendations, and analyze sales data to identify actionable insights for the sales team 
- Support CFO in month-end closings and company-wide metrics
- Follow up with go to market department heads to ensure proper execution 
- Serve as the SF system administrator (maintain permissions and prioritization log) and manage 3rd party vendors and process automations, from setup to maintenance and documentation

What You’ll Need

- 5+ years of related experience in business strategy/business or sales analysis and/or operations; Background in SaaS and/or Professional Services
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Finance or related field, or related equivalent experience
- SAAS experience highly favorable; Knowledge of sales processes, from MQLs to SQLs to Opportunities
- Proficiency in Salesforce (2+ years ideal; Salesforce certification preferred) – you have knowledge and familiarity with Salesforce automation capabilities and an understanding of marketing automation processes
- Strong analytical skills – you understand how data relates to business goals and have strong Excel/spreadsheet skill (the ability to use data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills, written & verbal - you can effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical people across the sales organization.
- Detail-oriented - you are able to maintain a high level of ownership and accuracy.
- Self-starter - you understand how the work fits into the big picture and have the ability to take projects to completion.
- Systems thinker - you have a technical understanding of how systems connect.
- Prioritization skills - you can effectively manage many and changing priorities
- Ability and willingness to work in a global team across different time zones
