The opportunity

As the Vice President, Business Development at ciValue, you’ll be a key member of the executive team with responsibility for driving ciValue’s partnering strategy. The role requires a deep understanding of the channel business & product as well as understanding of the partners’ role in selling and delivering ciValue’s solutions from ciValue. The successful candidate will have strategic sales, partner enablement, product and marketing skills to guide the organization and partners toward strong partner growth with high customer satisfaction.

You will be responsible for:

- Leading ciValue’s business development, partnership & alliances strategy.
- Developing and executing a comprehensive partnering business plan.
- Working with partners and developing business plans to achieve revenue commitments, conducting QBRs, and measuring partner performance against pre-established business metrics.
- Build and develop relationships with relevant partners and alliances as well as with partners in the extended ecosystem.
- Research, map, and identify new business opportunities including new partnership types.
- Be responsible for the joint solution strategy and business case with each partner, from strategy definition to production.
- Negotiate with the relevant partners and craft agreements which maximize ROI for both parties.
- Team-up with Sales, Product, Product Marketing, Marketing and Customer Success teams to ensure that goals and objectives are met:
- Partnering with Outbound Product Management to help develop partner-friendly solution offerings.
- Partnering with Marketing to drive the creation and utilization of sales collateral as well as marketing programs and campaigns that drive partner revenue.
- Facilitating, developing, and managing sales enablement, sales support and training to ensure partners are equipped to position products/solutions and compete effectively to meet revenue objectives.
- Evangelizing the partnership including joint value proposition with sales teams to ensure awareness and collaboration.
- Ensuring sales team strategies are aligned with the global partner strategy.
- Take part in creating and leading the go-to-market strategy of ciValue’s solutions to partners.
- Take part in on-line /frontal conferences, speak-on panels, etc.


- 5-10 years of experience as a Business Development / Partnership leader, with a hands-on leadership approach
- Experience in a global CRM solutions enterprise company - is a must
- Experience in building business development & partnership plans
- Demonstrated track record of successful channel development (including SIs) in organizations with recurring revenue models including software and services
- Experience with a variety of contracts including licensing, distribution, referral, re-sell, revenue sharing and partnership sales
- Background in Outbound Product Management or Product Marketing roles
- A proactive listener, who can identify gaps, and translate partners’ needs into offering and product adjustments
- Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to craft agreements which maximize ROI for both parties
- Relationship-oriented- building trust and strong partnership relations
- Team player with demonstrated history of cross-functional collaboration, e.g. global team, field sales, marketing, product, customer success, R&D functions
- Strong presentation and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Education: Master’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Computer Science, or Engineering

- Experience in the CPG Retail industry and related ecosystems
- Experience in a startup environment with an Israeli management or headquarters
- Additional languages skills e.g. French and Spanish
- You have worked in similar positions in innovative, global, multicultural companies
