Riverside.fm empowers media companies to record podcasts and video interviews remotely in studio-quality.
Since launching, we have experienced rapid growth and are trusted by customers such as Disney, Spotify and Verizon Media. We are now looking to further grow our presence in Europe.
- We’re searching for someone to join our team as Business Development Manager.
- This position is for someone who gets excited by the idea of building up new business from the ground.
- You are passionate about the media industry and the wider tech scene, customer-focused and are conformable carrying a quota.
- This is an exciting opportunity to get involved with a fast-growing startup with huge potential to revolutionise the future of content creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research European market, identify relevant companies and stakeholders
- Conduct outbound efforts and generate interest through email, calls, and social media
- Closely manage a lead funnel
- Collaborate with marketing to research, design and execute campaigns
- Report progress and metrics and present periodic proposals to management on ways to improve the sales process
- Consistently achieve a quota to ensure territory revenue and growth objectives Riverside in the press Riverside just raised a $2.5M seed round led by Zeev Ventures which is the VC behind companies like Houzz and Audible.

Requirements
- Quick learner, creative, detail-oriented, positive, enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to succeed
- Self-starter with good time management skills, able to work individually as well as a part of a team
- 2 years business development and/or sales development experience
- A track record of generating new business opportunities in new markets
- English – high level MUST (verbal, written)
- Prior experience with the Media Industry is an advantage
- Additional languages are an advantage
