About the Role

Riskified is looking for a Business Development Manager with experience in B2B sales to join our fast growing startup. As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for proactive outbound prospecting and lead management. You’ll be creating interest for Riskified at key accounts by demonstrating the value our solution delivers. This position will have a direct impact on our success by expanding the Riskified customer base. You will be responsible for strategizing, planning and developing prospecting and sales strategies to initiate sales processes with large global brands.

What You'll Be Doing

- Create sales opportunities that are well positioned to become clients.
- Manage all sales opportunities - Create and execute a multi-faceted prospecting plan through research, cold outreach (calling and email), leveraging personal networks and following up on marketing generated leads.
- Identify prospects’ key questions and pain-points
- Consistent use of proven sales approaches and techniques developed internally at Riskified
- Continuously improve and research the existing business development process to improve conversion
- Represent Riskified at industry events around the world
- Work as part of a team with Account Executives and other company resources to win new clients for Riskified

- 3-5 years professional B2B tech sales/BD experience - MUST
- Native English speaker- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good analytical & research skills and ability to use both in an effective and relevant way in a sales process.
- Sales oriented and highly motivated
- Strong interpersonal skills, approachable and able to build relationships with prospects
- Excellent public speaking skills
- Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organisation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment with minimum supervision
