Description

Team8 is hiring an exceptional Business Research Specialist to join its Go-to-Market team in Tel-Aviv. In this role, you will lead market research in support of Team8’s core activities including company creation, ideation and validation processes, business development, community management and thought leadership initiatives. The research is an integral part of our ambitious effort to solve big problems, create category-leading companies and dramatically increase their chances of success.

You will be responsible for anything data-oriented: gathering and analyzing information on companies, industries and technologies; forming analysis of competitive landscapes as well as customer and partner segments; identifying market trends, characteristics and thought leaders; and contributing supporting research to reports, white papers, articles, blog posts, speaking engagements and more.

We are looking for someone who is brilliant, hard working, with vast experience in market research and analysis. A team player who is also independent, process driven and extremely detail-oriented.

In this role you will have a key part in creating and managing processes, projects and initiatives, working closely with the Go-To-Market and Research teams as well as with founders of our portfolio companies. You will not have people directly reporting to you.

Responsibilities:
- Perform business and technology market research and analysis
- Present analysis for competitive landscapes as well as customer and partner segments
- Contribute research in support of thought leadership and community management initiatives including reports, events, speaking engagements, white papers, blog posts.

Requirements

- At least 3 years of experience in market research, analysis and methodologies
- Analytical, tech savvy and works well with numbers, spreadsheets and reporting tools
- Excellent English (spoken and written)

Advantages:
- Prior experience in investment banking, venture capital, strategic consulting or market research firms
- Work experience in the domains of Information Technologies (IT), enterprise software, cybersecurity, data analytics and artificial intelligence
- Mother-tongue level of English
