Localize (in Israel known as Madlan) is a digital product that redefines how we live in cities. Historically, the real estate market has developed around a stark imbalance of knowledge between its professionals and its subjects - us, the city’s residents. Today, as more and more urban data is made available, residents are scrambling to make sense of it all and how would it affect their future in the city. Localize marks a mature approach that responsibly bridges this gap. We use both public and private data analysis and cutting edge design and communication to equip real people with personalized knowledge, up to date market analysis and home suggestions that actually fit their needs.

We’ve put together an A-list design team and we’re now looking for a A-list designer to lead our brand and marketing work. We’ve just launched our brand new unified product both in Israel and New York, and are expanding to Chicago, DC, LA, SF and additional cities. This expansion to multiple markets requires a focused designer to tell our nuanced story in every city neighborhood and address we serve. That’s where you come in.


- Proven work on branding digital products: 2+ years experience in brand and marketing work for real digital products that users love.
- Independent, creative and passionate: you can dive quickly into the work, you’re proactive and curious and you understand how to come up with the right story and visual language for the right platform.
- Impressive and thoughtful visual communication portfolio: we want to learn about your process. Your portfolio should show not only beautiful pictures, but thoughtful and effective design processes. We want to learn how you come up with a brief, how you solve it visually, what did it change in the real world and how you work to iterate and make it better.
- Image making, illustration and animation skills are a major plus.
- Data driven campaign experience: if you can show how the work you did affected business goals in the real world that would also be highly valued.
- Team player: we create amazing things together, that “together” thing matters to us greatly.
- You’re a proud and happy brand designer: and you’re not looking to join a product company as a stepping stone towards a career change. We want you to own and maintain your position.
