Description

BioCatch’s behavioral bio-metrics solution prevents fraud while providing web and mobile users with a friction-less experience. Based on the very subtle ways users interact with the site, we create several ML models that detect whether or not it is the actual user performing a money transfer or an evil fraudster that obtained the users credentials and is now stealing her money.

We process and store hundreds of TB of daily data, we allow Threat Analysts to explore it in every which way, run multiple ML algorithms and ultimately serve them to online users at a very strict sub second latencies; all that while keeping a keen eye on cloud costs.

Main responsibilities:
- Evolving our ETL pipeline
- Enabling Threat Analysts and Data Scientists to explore the collected data
- Working closely with Data Scientists to provide them with a lean Feature Engineering and ML platfor
- Learning, prototyping and bench marking new data technologies for new business use cases
- Participating in data modeling and data integrity guaranteeing efforts
- Our stack: Spark, Impala, Python3, Kafka, Kubernetes, Azure

Your stack: Proven strong back-end software engineering skills, ability to think for yourself and challenge common assumptions, commit to high quality execution and embrace collaboration.

Requirements

- Software Development, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence - must
- Distributed computing technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Beam etc) – must
- Data modeling, ETL development, data warehousing - must
- Knowledge with NoSql stores (Redis, Mongo, Aerospike etc) – an advantage
- Messaging systems Experience (Kafka, RabbitMQ etc) – an advantage
- Implementing ML pipelines in production Experience - an advantage
