Description
As a member of the Big-Data team you’ll be building a brand new big-data pipeline. You’ll be using the most advanced open source frameworks for stream processing and functional programmming. You’ll build POC’s to evaluate new tools and solutions.
What you’ll do:
Build event-driven micro-services in Scala with Akka Framework
Implement streaming big-data applications using Flink
Implement REST based WEB Services
Use CI/CD pipelines to deploy your code to Kubernetes
Experiment with exciting and innovative technologies
Write unit and integration tests, Collaborate with QA automation

Requirements
You’ll do it using:
Your knowledge gained through your B.Sc.in Computer Science studies or through an equivalent practical experience
Your 2-3 years of experience (minimum) with Java/Scala development of cloud-based systems
An eagerness for building highly resilient and scalable systems with cutting-edge technology
It would be advantageous to have any of the following:
o Experience working with Scala development (or other functional language)
o Experience working with AKKA framework
o Experience working with Kafka or other queuing systems
o Experience working with Flink or Kafka Streams
o Experience working with Docker/Kubernetes
o Experience working on AWS cloud
