Description

Mend.io is building its BI team and looking for our first BI developer! We are looking for someone who will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines and BI solutions using systems such as Tableau, Athena, DBT, and AirByte.

As a BI developer, you will be working with the different departments in the organization to translate business needs into data models, and then create meaningful data visualizations to better communicate data insights to stakeholders and support decision-making.

**In this position, you will work in a hybrid model, which means you will spend two days at the office and three days working from home.**

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience as a BI Developer or as a Data Engineer
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience in Tableau - must
- Strong experience in developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards
- Experience with Airflow or other ETL tools
- Experience in designing, constructing, and maintaining efficient data pipelines using DBT or Python
- Ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally with a wide range of audiences and maintain interpersonal relationships
- Ability to work independently and multi-task within time constraints to meet deadlines
- Fast learner, team player, independent with a positive attitude and passion for data
