Description

Backend Developer (Node JS) – temporary contract 6-9 months

Do you have a passion for building high-performance web applications with Node.js? Are you an expert in serverless architecture and looking to leverage your skills on a fast-paced project? If so, we want to hear from you!

We are seeking a talented and experienced Node.js Backend Developer to join our team on a temporary contract basis for 6-9 months. In this role, you will play a critical role in accelerating the development of our web application by leveraging your expertise in Node.js and AWS serverless technologies.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable backend using Node.js.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration and data exchange between the frontend and backend.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
- Leverage AWS serverless technologies (e.g., Lambda) to build highly available and cost-effective backend services.
- Implement strong security measures to protect user data and application integrity.
- Troubleshoot and debug backend issues efficiently.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the development team.

Qualifications:

- 6+ years of experience in developing backend applications with Node.js. - must
- Experience with relational databases (Aurora) – an advantage.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services, particularly serverless technologies like Lambda
- Experience with unit testing and writing clean and maintainable tests.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools.
