About the Role:
- 1-3 years sales experience, in a bank or non-bank financial institution preferable
- Demonstrable experience or interest in the financial markets
- Manage and grow a book of global private (including HNW’s and UHNW’s) and small to mid sized corporate clients. Continuous learning, execution and communication with clients on what drives the foreign exchange markets, true to our vision of service layered onto technology
- Previous experience of handling c-suite relationships required. Role involves ability to educate and devise strategies for individuals making emigration / real estate purchases, and companies with £100k to £20m in annual currency exposure and the associated risks of FX market volatility
- Outbound calls to leads collected from various events, trade shows and marketing initiatives
- Working in a tight-knit team with business development and account management professionals to ensure successful management and superb retention of client portfolio
- Ensure clients fully understand the roster of products we offer (up-selling / cross-selling), such as spot ‘buy now pay now’, automated market orders, rate alerts, forward contracts, draw-downs, API’s, Virtual IBAN’s, Send Moneyt Via Email, encouraging full usage of our award-winning ‘UBER for SMB’ global payments marketplace
- Build strong relationships with clients and affiliate partners to ensure conversion and zero churn, helping clients to minimize risks and protect against budget. Participate in online events and workshops where required
- Employ follow up sales techniques to maximise conversion, reacting quickly to market movements and ensure informed client decisions are made
- Deliver daily political and economic updates to ensure successful client correspondence
- Re-engage with dormant clients on the CRM to encourage re-trading and maximise P&L opportunities
- Problem solving, troubleshooting and dealing with client queries in a calm, professional and service led manner
- Ensure observation and adhering to the compliance and procedures of the payment partners contributing to our global payments marketplace
- Generate referrals and partnership sales opportunities for business developers


Qualifications & what we are looking for:
- English fluent
- French very desirable
- Additional languages a bonus
- Minimum of 2 years sales or relevant experience
- Motivated, ambitious, self starter
- Outgoing, people person who loves being on the phone
- Experience in high volume daily calls and talk time
- Confident and articulate e-mail communication
- Accuracy and attention to detail
