Application Engineer

Elmo is growing and we are looking for an Application Engineer to join our team!

The Field Application Engineer is involved in pre & post technical sales and support of motion control product solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·Provide Hardware and software technical support in the field of servo and motion control to the company’s key customers. This is part of a customer success-oriented team.

·Provide presale technical support, advise customers on proper motion component selection, perform demonstrations, assist with initial setups and motion tuning at customer sites.

·Provide post sales technical support including problem solving and analysis.

·Preparation of technical material including presentations, code examples, application notes and case studies.

·Provide trainings, seminars, and webinars.

·Provide applicative "system wise" motion solutions for complex multi-disciplinary customers.

REQUIREMENTS

·Engineering Degree (Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation or similar)

·At least 5 years' experience in motion and control, electrical drives and motors

·Experience with electrical power systems

·Deeper knowledge of motion control - advantage

·Experienced in C, C++, .net, IEC 61131-3 programming and Model-based design - advantage

·English - high writing and verbal skills.

·Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.

·Ability to work with experts in various disciplines, including Software, Algorithm Mechanics, Physics and electronics.

·Work well under pressure.
