Description

Guesty provides a property management software product and support services for the $100 billion Airbnb and vacation rental market. We are Y-Combinator alums, backed by top VCs in the US and Israel, and are already profitable, looking to scale our proven business model. That’s where you come in.

We’re looking to rapidly build our sales team to quickly dominate the market we created as the first Airbnb-focused property management software provider for this huge market. You’ll work closely with our founding team with a ton of leads to close and sell a product that is already dominant in the market.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate, develop, manage, and close a pipeline of opportunities
- Maintain an organized CRM and effectively prioritize your pipeline
- Perform software demos, close prospects, and assist in client onboarding when necessary
- Handle both inbound and outbound leads from the US, Europe, and Australia

A note on compensation:
You’ll have a high base salary and a reasonable quota with a generous bonus structure. We’ll probably want to test each other out for a month, so a permanent offer will be contingent on how you perform during the first month.

Requirements

- You’ve successfully sold a technological product before and want to bring your sales and business development skills to a growing startup
- You've got friendly hustle, which means you’re a natural closer but have a deep natural empathy for your customers
- You’ve got superb written communication skills and can’t wait to do demos of our product with prospective customers
- You’re able to qualify and disqualify leads easily, overcome objections, and find solutions
- You work well with others, communicate clearly, and are detail-oriented
- Your mother tongue is English or, if not, your written and spoken English are highly polished and will inspire confidence with US and European prospects

NICE TO HAVE
- Familiarity with CRMs
- Startup experience
- Experience with or at least a passion for the travel and hospitality industry, Airbnb, or any combination of these
- You’ve used Airbnb or VRBO before as a host or guest
